Tom Lehman, of Missoula, Montana, USA, was elected to serve a two-year term as a director of The International Association of Lions Clubs at the association's 75th International Convention, held in Hong Kong, June 23-26, 1992.
Past Director Lehman is an auctioneer.
A Lion since 1961 and currently a member of the Hellgate Lions Club, Past Director Lehman has held many positions within the association. He has served as club president and was twice a 100% district governor. On the international level, he was a member of the Nominations and Elections Committee and chairperson of the Parade Contest Committee. In 1987-88, Past Director Lehman was an appointee to the International Board of Directors, and during 1985-87 and 1996-97, he was a member of the USA/Canada Lions Leadership Forum Planning Committee.
Past Director Lehman is a life member and has received numerous awards in recognition of his service to the association, including the Senior Master Key, four Extension awards, the Guiding Lion Award, seven International President's awards and the Ambassador of Good Will Award, the highest honor the association grants its members. He is also a Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow.
Past Director Lehman and his wife Judy, also a Lion and a Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow, have six children and eight grandchildren.
